The school I wish I had when I started.
I started Construction Guys in 2015 with almost nothing: no construction experience, no contractor’s license, and just two friends willing to start with me. We built the business from the ground up and learned as we went.
That road was far from easy. We faced customers who didn’t pay, business setbacks, and hard lessons that I had nowhere to go to learn in advance. I know what it feels like to want a future in construction without knowing where to begin or who to turn to.
Today, Construction Guys does approximately $3–4 million in business each year. Getting here is why I want to share what I’ve learned—including the mistakes and failures behind the progress.
I’m building Construction Guys Training Academy to give people the learning opportunity I wish I’d had. The school brings hands-on construction training together with the knowledge it takes to build and run a business.
My goal goes beyond preparing students to work for someone else. I want to help them develop their craft, understand the business, and work toward starting construction companies of their own. That takes learning, experience, and persistence. This school is being built to help them take those steps.
